Latest happenings!

The Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota! We went canoeing a few weekends ago and enjoyed the fall colors and wildlife that we saw... lots of lily pads, bald eagles, and turtles. The north shore up by Lake Superior is beautiful and we will visit there as often as possible!

We hunted for Indian artifacts and spent time with the girls making arrowheads.

Then on Sunday we went to the Harvest Moon Festival in Ely. There were trappers and ladies weaving their own yarn and stew cooking over the open fire. The girls had brought their own shawls along and their little leather pouches they had made and beaded. They fit right in!

 BACK AT OUR FARM!

 Betty laid an egg!!!!

 SQUASH HARVESTING

THE MOST FUN OF ALL THIS FALL WAS OUR FARM FAIR AT HUMBLEBERRY FARMS!

AND WE JUST HARVESTED OUR POTATOES!
